North-South-Award of development politics of the city of Münster 2006

Karin Reismann, mayoress of Münster city, did award Solar Net International on thuesday evening in the town-hall with the third "Entwicklungspolitischen Nord-Süd-Preis" (North-South-Award of development politics) of the city of Münster.

The award, that is regularly given to people with exemplary commitment in development politics and north-south-partnerships, has been given to the individual Richard Nawezi and the from Schillergymnasium emerged initiative Solar Net International.

In a laution the german-southafrican journalist Ruth Weiss pointed out the special commitment of the association Solar Net International, that connects young people worldwide on topics such as "Renewable Energies" and "media".
